A Senior Software Engineer at SimAnalytica is passionate about developing elegant and impactful software applications that empower our users with data, knowledge, and visualisation tools through our Compass: Engine platform and associated applications to aid net zero, climate resilience and economic decision-making. In this role, you will lead the development of product features, drive user-centric design and innovation, and play a key role in shaping the future of our products. Your focus will be working with users to understand their needs and design functional and effective solutions to ensure that our products deliver exceptional value and meet our high-quality standards.
Domain expertise in, and proven experience of, developing data and modelling solutions for the energy or transport sectors a must.
The Senior Account Manager is solution and customer value focused, able to identify and manage strategic accounts at all stages of adoption from initial proof of value studies to large, multi-year, multi-team deployments. This role will represent existing applications as well as a responsibility to identify new and commercially justifiable future product needs by facilitating close collaboration between customers and prospects and SimAnalytica’s product development organisation. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success of strategic account development and growth combined with experience delivering data and digital solutions into the public sector and its supporting private sector ecosystems. An existing network in the data and digital functions of the infrastructure, energy or transport sectors a must.
Bringing our new approach and technology to market requires a candidate who is an energetic, persistent, adaptable and resilient self-starter willing to challenge business as usual approaches and passionately communicate our application value propositions to key decision makers within target accounts and sectors. The ideal candidate will be a “hunter” who thrives on building new relationships, identifying and closing business opportunities for our portfolio of software applications and can quickly qualify in/out and advance opportunities rapidly through the sales funnel. A demonstrated success of selling data and digital solutions into the UK public sector and navigating the associated procurement processes a must.
